I'm sure you'll agree that people pay an awful lot of money when they use a real estate broker. Commissions pay the bills for a real estate company and typically, it's the largest real estate companies that set the trends in brokerage fees. Unfortunately for the consumer, these companies are the ones with the greatest overhead, the national franchise fees, and the highest agent turnover. Not only that, but a clean and simple residential sale is usually charged the same rate as the really difficult sales: the homes with multiple needed repairs, the ones with title problems, and the homes that are just plain hard to sell, and high overhead demands high fees. Do you think that's fair? We think there's a better way. We're small, we're efficient, and we offer every MLS advantage. Very briefly stated, instead of the straight across-the-board 6 % brokerage fee that everyone else charges, our variable fee goes from a top of 4 % all the way down to just 1 %. On a $200,000 home that'll save the seller a minimum of $4,000 to a whopping $10,000. Lest you think we've gone totally mad, we do charge an up-front non-refundable listing fee of $500.00. That's pretty tremendous, right? We think so.
